Even "though" they all end in "ough", they all have their own sound! I'd like to meet the person responsible for this!! 😝

"Veronika Decides to Die" - Paulo Coelho

Veronika is a 24 year old girl living in a convent in Ljubljana and decides that she has lived enough and decides to take her own life. After taking a vast amount of sleeping pills, she wakes up in hospital and is admitted to the mental hospital where she is told she has a week to live. She meets Eduard, Mari, Zedka and others and....I will not continue and give any more away. This book was so incredibly inspiring and has truly opened my eyes to how important life is, and to enjoy all of life's trials and tribulations that are sent your way. Take nothing for granted. Regret no decision. Take chances. Do everything you have ever wanted to do and enjoy the hell out of it!!!

What's up with this weather???

Yes, another post about the weather! This is insane! We go from being nearly 45 degrees yesterday, snow melting, albeit raining and now today it is 20 (I think 0 with the horrible windchill) and snowing! Ridiculous! I knew it was taunting us yesterday, but come on. I'm getting whiplash from Mother Nature's mood swings. LOL. As soon as I finish school and move out to Ohio, Daniel and I will be wintering in Miami. Once I'm done with school, there will be no more cold winters for me! Ugh! 32 years of snow is enough for me!!!

Lazy Daisy

My baby girl being lazy on a dreary Friday afternoon. We've all been lazy today. It's January 11th in Minnesota and it's 40 degrees outside. The snow is melting, but there is no sun today. It's like a Spring afternoon, in the middle of Winter. If there is anyone who does not believe in Global Warming, you best start checking the weather forecasts and start comparing the trends for the past few years. I'm not complaining...I hate Winter and I hate cold, but I also do not like cold rain and when the water freezes making it horrible driving. Anyway...that's all I have for today!!!
